DESCRIPTION : An unusual fine set of four matching sterling Silver salts of octagonal form raised on a conforming octagonal base with a fold over rim. The sides of the body are scroll/foliate engraved. One cartouche contains the crest of a bird or prey with spurs, the other remains vacant. These salts have Silver gilt interiors. All four salts by the well regarded Silversmiths Charles Reily & George Storer are presented in excellent Antique condition!

Silver under 100 years old

As well as our collections of Antique Silver we will also be offering carefully selected items which can loosely be termed as "Modern" anything from the Edwardian era right up until the present time. Such items will either be aesthetically pleasing or of sufficiently good quality to merit inclusion. Futhermore it is our intention to source more contempory pieces by emerging designers and makers.

Condition

Whilst the greatest care and attention to detail is taken in selecting only the best quality items for sale, it is inevitable given their age that some will show signs of wear. Nevertheless it is always our aim that any such signs of use will not detract from the overall enjoyment of the item.

Weight

It should be noted that in all instances weight is approximate and whilst it is never our intention to mislead it is possible that the reading from our scales (Avoirdupois not troy) may differ from that of you own. Grams will always be the more accurate way to convey the items weight to a prospective buyer.

About Silver search

In return for an initial search fee, in order to partially defray expenses a search will be made to locate items of interest. Once acquired at entirely our own risk the item will be offered to you exclusively at at fixed price for a period of 10days. If the offer is not taken up within this timescale the item will be offered on the open market. The level of the search fee will be commensurate with the task in hand and will be on a per assignment basis.
